Fruit Logistica 2022: our impressions of the fruit and vegetable marketing event
We took our baby leaf salads to the International Fruit and Vegetable Marketing Fair and this is what we brought home from Fruit Logistica 2022 in Berlin.
We recently returned from Fruit Logistica, the international fruit and vegetable marketing fair held in Berlin from 5 to 7 April 2022, and we wish to share the topics that highlighted the workshops and meetings we had at our stand, both with suppliers and potential international customers.
4.0 Machinery and Agriculture
Technology was a recurring topic throughout the different halls of the Fruit Logistica fair.
4.0 Agriculture, embraced by OP Isola Verde many years ago, has become an absolute must for the agricultural sector and an increasing number of enterprises are developing new systems to grow fruit, vegetables, adult and baby leaf salads in a sustainable manner, integrating technological innovations and machinery within an environmentally friendly idea of agriculture.
Varietal research
Another topic that is fundamental for us and one we encountered at Fruit Logistica 2022 is varietal research.
Senior Management at OP Isola Verde, supported by the technical staff, pays great attention to the research conducted on new baby leaf salad seeds as varietal selection is the best solution to obtain products that meet the highest quality standards.
Cooperation among enterprises that look to the future
Another aspect that impressed us during the fair was the high level of participation among sector enterprises. The fair organizer estimates that over 40,000 fruit and vegetable operators from 130 different countries flocked to the stands in Berlin, all of whom driven by the same goal: finding new enterprises to collaborate with.
At OP Isola Verde we have always viewed cooperation as one of our major strengths and it was a pleasure to see so many international enterprises eager to cooperate with each other to improve the quality of fruit and vegetables.
The experience in Berlin was informative and enlightening, it allowed us to discuss key issues with other enterprises, to meet viable new partners and customers, and also to demonstrate the value of our philosophy and the quality of our products.
